I can’t get it to become permanent though. Used that line in fstab but at boot it can’t mount because mountpoint /dev/pts doesn’t exist??

    Any thoughts appreciated!

Found a permanet solution at last:

    apt-get install udev

Now I have a console even after a reboot!
